Revision

Uk film council:
it was an agency for helping, supporting, financing the movie production.
The money came from the government, money won from loterry and it helped distributed

When it shut down it changed the filming industry as it meant that less independant movies were made.


BFI
prints and advertising funds provide £4 million every year to help british distributors to promote non- main stream films..


Because of much cheaper equipment now the independant movie with low budget can make movies cheaper and therefor can make some money of it.


Film piracy is a big issue

Everyone wants to watch films, because everyone can relate to it, its a topic to talk about, see something new, experience what you cant experience in real life.

sanitisation- can stop someone being violent from watching a film on how bad violence is.



identification-were watching movies can affect people and make them shoot someone or something ect.






Why we would want to watch media:
Information- we want to find out about society, what i happening around the world, new technology, ect.


Personal identity- we may watch television to look for models for our behaviour, it helps us decide how we feel about ourselves, the warm feeling of a good ending.


Intergration and social interaction- something to talk about




Look at distributuion, production, maketing, exchange.

-Internet, have to have good technology to make it work, fast internet speed to ct down o buffering times,
